Rental catalogue

A structured Excel table becomes a bilingual, searchable catalogue that supports a complete fair request.

01

The problem

Rental articles needed a consistent and maintainable presentation. Categories, variants, dimensions, colours and availability could not be duplicated manually across languages and pages.

02

The solution

Data is organised in a structured Excel table and published as a JSON catalogue. The web interface reads the same structure to build search, filters, product details and the request selection.

03

My role

I co-developed and built the catalogue, defined its data structure and integrated the workflow into the Walcher Messebau website. I also maintain and update it.

04

The result

A bilingual catalogue that separates data from presentation. Changes remain manageable in the table and visitors can move from search to a detailed request without changing tools.

The table as the data source

Excel remains practical for maintaining thousands of articles. The structure separates codes, DE/IT text, category, variant, material, colour, size, quantity and images.
